Singer Yoon Jongshin chose ‘Like It’ as the song that earned him the most royalties on a broadcast marking his 30th debut anniversary.
On KBS2’s variety show ‘Problematic Men in Rooftop Room,’ which aired on the 3rd, Yoon Jongshin said he has released about 600 songs over the past 30 years and stated that ‘Like It’ was the song that generated the most income. He recalled that he only participated in writing the lyrics for the song, and that it rose to No. 1 on the music charts some time after its release.
Yoon Jongshin joked that it was during the time when Wanna One and Sunmi were competing, and said he felt sorry for taking No. 1 when an idol should have been on top, drawing laughter. He also explained that the song being sung a lot in karaoke had a major impact on the popularity and royalties of ‘Like It.’
