On June 7 local time, Vice President Han Zheng attended and delivered remarks at the Belarusspecific event of “Shared Large Market · Export to China” in Minsk.
Han Zheng said that since China and Belarus established diplomatic ties more than 30 years ago, bilateral relations have continued to develop. Last August, President Xi Jinping met with President Lukashenko, further pointing the way for cooperation between the two countries in various fields and injecting new impetus into economic and trade cooperation.
Han Zheng noted that, against the backdrop of complex changes in the current international situation and growing challenges to free trade, the Chinese side is willing to strengthen policy coordination and industrial cooperation with the Belarusian side, expand trade channels, increase trade scale, promote cooperation in new areas such as the digital economy, and improve the transportation efficiency of ChinaEurope freight trains, so as to promote the sustained development of bilateral economic and trade relations. During the event, enterprises from both sides held business talks and reached multiple cooperation intentions.
