The Ministry of Civil Affairs Announces 82 Approved Social Service Projects

Central government financial support for social service projects focuses on areas related to people's livelihoods, such as the elderly and children 82 projects benefit more than 150,000 people, helping social organizations take part in service implementation

On the 4th, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced the list of approved projects for the 2026 central government financial support program for social organizations’ participation in social service projects, with a total of 82 projects approved. These projects mainly focus on areas such as care for the elderly and children, rural revitalization, underdeveloped regions, and capacity building for social organizations, aiming to advance the delivery of livelihood services. Among them, more than 80% of the projects target children in difficult circumstances, elderly people in hardship, and people with mental disorders, providing services such as companionship and support, psychological counseling, professional care, rehabilitation training, and social integration. Officials estimate that this batch of projects will directly benefit more than 150,000 people.
