Kong Ling, Party Secretary of the Nanchong Fire and Rescue Detachment in Sichuan, is Under Disciplinary Review and Investigation

On September 2, the Nanchong Municipal Commission of Supervision in Sichuan Province reported that Kong Ling, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Nanchong Fire and Rescue Detachment, is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and violations of the law and is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation. The relevant investigation was first conducted by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team of the Sichuan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps, and was then placed under the jurisdiction of the Nanchong Municipal Commission of Supervision as designated by the Sichuan Provincial Commission of Supervision. Publicly available résumé information shows that Kong Ling was born in August 1972 in Luzhou, Sichuan. He began working in 1992 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1995. He subsequently served for a long period in Sichuan's fire service system, working in fire departments in places including Guangyuan, Bazhong, and Mianyang, and has served as Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Nanchong Fire and Rescue Detachment since September 2022.
