President Meets OECD Secretary-General, Emphasizes Inclusive Growth Theory

The inclusive growth theory presents solutions to polarization and a sustainable growth strategy Take a look at Korea's 30th anniversary OECD case and global cooperation tasks together

President Lee Jaemyung met with OECD SecretaryGeneral Matthias Cormann in Paris, France, and assessed that economic polarization is intensifying conflicts between countries and groups. President Lee emphasized that for sustainable growth, an 'inclusive growth theory' that fairly shares the opportunities and outcomes of growth is important, and also expressed concern about instability in the international community and the spread of extremism. SecretaryGeneral Cormann noted the 30th anniversary of Korea's OECD membership, praised Korea as a success story, and presented cooperation on market democracy, promoting economic welfare, resolving trade imbalances, and restoring supply chains as key OECD tasks.
