On July 27, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 180 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds in advance to support Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Liaoning, and Jilin provinces in carrying out flood control and typhoon emergency rescue and disaster relief work.
According to reports, multiple typhoons have recently affected China in succession, bringing heavy rainfall to South China, East China, and Northeast China, with severe risks and disaster impacts in some areas. The funds will mainly be used for search and rescue, relocating and resettling affected residents, eliminating hazards and dangers, inspecting and addressing hidden risks of secondary disasters, and repairing collapsed or damaged homes.
