Sheng Minghong, former deputy general manager of Anhui Transportation Holding Group, has been expelled from the Party and removed from public office

According to a report from the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Sheng Minghong, former member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Anhui Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd., has been placed under review and investigation and has received Party disciplinary and administrative sanctions for serious violations of discipline and law. The notice states that Sheng Minghong was accused of resisting organizational review, engaging in superstitious activities, illegally accepting travel arrangements, improperly seeking personnel benefits for others, accepting money and property, using his authority to seek benefits for relatives, and illegally obtaining and spending public funds. He is also suspected of helping others seek benefits in areas such as project contracting and the disbursement of project payments, and of illegally accepting huge sums of money and property. The Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision said that Sheng Minghong seriously violated multiple disciplines, constituted serious dutyrelated misconduct, and is suspected of the crimes of bribery and abuse of power by personnel of stateowned companies. He has been expelled from the Party and removed from public office. His illegal gains from discipline and law violations will be confiscated, and the suspected criminal issues and related assets will be transferred to the procuratorate for handling in accordance with the law.
