On August 3, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Office of the National Commission for Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief, together with the Ministry of Emergency Management and the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, allocated 65,000 central disaster relief supplies to the local area in response to the rainstorm and flood disaster in Shaanxi and the impact of a new round of sustained heavy rainfall.
The supplies allocated this time include tents, folding beds, blankets, and family emergency kits, and are mainly used to support the relief of affected residents, evacuation to safer areas, and temporary resettlement.
Relevant departments also dispatched a working group to the disaster area to inspect the disaster situation on site and assist in guiding local authorities in carrying out subsequent disaster relief work.
