The main event of the Ningxia Farmers' Harvest Festival was held in Xiji
Ningxia Harvest Festival: Showcasing the achievements of high-quality agricultural development and Fujian-Ningxia cooperation Special agricultural product exhibitions and sales, livestream commerce, and consumer voucher distribution help revitalize the countryside
On September 23, the main venue event for Ningxia’s 2026 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival and MidAutumn Festival kicked off at the square of the Ningxia Jiangtaibao Red Army Long March Meeting Memorial Park in Jingyuan County, Guyuan City. Centered on the theme “Opening New Opportunities through a Bumper Harvest, Advancing Revitalization through Practical Efforts,” the event showcased the achievements of Ningxia’s highquality agricultural and rural development, while also presenting the assistance results and incomegrowth stories brought about by the FujianNingxia cooperation.
Before the event, guests also went to the front lines of the industries in Jiqiang Town and Malian Township to visit the beef cattle breeding center and the standardized vegetable planting base, and to learn about the development of local特色 planting and breeding industries. The main venue featured cultural performances, speeches by farmer representatives, and other segments, highlighting the positive and uplifting spirit of farmers and rural residents.
This event included multiple sections focused on benefiting the people and supporting farmers, including policy briefings, exhibitions and sales of agricultural specialty products, livestreamed promotion and sales, distribution of consumer vouchers, as well as food experiences, farming competitions, and displays of intangible cultural heritage. Ningxia will also continue to hold related commendation exhibitions, calligraphy and painting photography exhibitions, and consumerpromoting activities to drive rural development.
