Chinese Vice President Han Zheng attended and delivered a speech at the Belarus special event of “Shared Big Market · Export to China” in Minsk on June 7 local time. Han Zheng said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belarus more than 30 years ago, bilateral relations have continued to develop, and cooperation between the two sides in various fields has kept advancing. In August last year, President Xi Jinping met with President Lukashenko, pointing the way for further development of relations and practical cooperation between the two countries. Han Zheng pointed out that, in the face of a complex and changing international economic situation, the Chinese side is willing to strengthen policy coordination, industrial cooperation, and trade exchanges with the Belarusian side, expand cooperation in new areas such as the digital economy, and improve the transportation efficiency of ChinaEurope freight trains, so as to promote the continued development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. He also said that this Belarus special event was the first overseas event in the 2026 “Export to China” series, and enterprise representatives from China and Belarus held matchmaking talks and reached a number of cooperation intentions.
