According to a July 27 notice from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Zhejiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Li Weimin, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
The notice shows that this investigation was jointly carried out by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Zhejiang Provincial Supervisory Commission.
