China Opportunities 2.0: Foreign-invested enterprises establish R&D centers in China and seize new opportunities for innovative growth Leverage stable policies and technological innovation to expand global competitiveness, and seize the benefits of development in China now

On July 1, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press conference that enterprises from all countries are welcome to seize the "China Opportunity 2.0" and achieve greater breakthroughs through development in China. Guo Jiakun said that China's competitiveness continues to improve, benefiting not only from a stable policy environment but also from the momentum brought by scientific and technological innovation. More and more foreigninvested enterprises are setting up R&D centers and regional headquarters in China, and are deeply participating in China's innovation and industrial chains, shifting from "Made in China" to "Created in China." He also mentioned that in 2025, the number of newly established foreigninvested enterprises in China's scientific research and technical services sector reached 14,000, up 27.2% year on year. The Chinese side said it will continue to promote highlevel opening up, advance the sharing of technologies and achievements with countries around the world, and support enterprises in strengthening resilience and expanding global competitiveness through open cooperation.
