The threeday 5th CCF Quantum Computing Conference and Greater Bay Area Quantum Science Forum opened in Shenzhen on August 3. The conference focuses on the interdisciplinary integration of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and computer science, aiming to promote frontier technologies from research and development to broaderscale practical applications. This conference is jointly hosted by the China Computer Federation and the Chinese Physical Society, attracting about 2,400 representatives from universities, research institutes, enterprises, venture capital institutions, and others. Yao Qizhi and Xue Qikun serve as cochairs of the conference, and several academicians shared insights on topics including computing infrastructure, the intersection of AI and physics, the integration of quantum and intelligent technologies, and the coordination of supercomputing and intelligence. The organizers said that during the conference, nearly 30 subforums, enterprise achievement roadshows, and governmentbusinesscapital matchmaking events will also be held to promote cooperation among research, industry, and capital, and to accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements in quantum technology.
