Shaanxi has recently launched a plan to enhance the capacity of universities to transform scientific and technological achievements, continuously deepening the “three reforms” in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and improving the university achievement transformation system around links such as the transformation chain, patent utilization, and the cultivation of highvalue patents.
According to the Shaanxi Provincial Government News Office, the local government has strengthened collaborative innovation between universities, local governments, and enterprises, organized university scientific and technological achievement transformation tours to different cities, and established joint governmententerprise funding projects to promote joint research by universities such as Xi'an University of Technology and Chang'an University with enterprises, providing technical support for ecological restoration on the Loess Plateau and the HanjiangtoWeihe River Water Diversion Project.
Xi'an University of Technology said that the university relies on research platforms such as the National Key Laboratory of Ecological Environment for Water Engineering in Arid Regions to conduct research centered on key tasks including ecological protection in the Yellow River Basin, ecological environment protection in the Qinling Mountains, and water source conservation for the SouthtoNorth Water Diversion Project. In recent years, the university has developed a number of technological achievements in areas such as Loess Plateau治理, water diversion projects, and pumpedstorage power station construction, with an onsite transformation rate of scientific research achievements exceeding 60%.
