On May 3, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, at the invitation of the Chinese government, Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will visit China from May 6 to 7. During the visit, Aripov will cochair the 8th meeting of the ChinaUzbekistan Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee with Chinese Vice Premier of the State Council Liu Guozhong. This meeting is expected to focus on the two sides' cooperation mechanisms and exchanges in related fields, reflecting arrangements for China and Uzbekistan to continue advancing bilateral communication and practical cooperation.
