Paper carton separate disposal implemented from October, which apartments are covered and how to do it

Separate disposal of paper cartons starts in large apartment complexes from October Check the dedicated collection bin and dispose of them properly to improve recycling efficiency

Starting this October, a system will be introduced in some large apartment complexes nationwide to separate paper cartons from other paper waste when disposing of them. The government plans to first encourage voluntary implementation in apartment complexes subject to mandatory management, and to make it mandatory starting next year. The target is approximately 144,000 mandatory management apartment complexes nationwide, including apartments with 300 or more households, or those with 150 or more households that are equipped with elevators or central heating. Whether the system is in effect in each complex and where to dispose of the cartons can be checked through the management office or notice boards. Paper cartons should be emptied, rinsed, opened up, dried, and then discarded in a dedicated collection bin or bag. It was also explained that if they are mixed with regular paper, recycling may become difficult, so separate disposal is necessary.
