On July 24, the Yongfu Sanhuang to Liuzhou section of the Guangxi Guilin to Qinzhou Port Expressway was officially opened to traffic. This expressway, with a total length of nearly 79 kilometers and a designed speed of 100 km/h, is an important section in Guangxi's expressway network plan connecting Guilin and Qinzhou Port. After the project is opened to traffic, it will further link together multiple urban clusters and new industrial districts in northern and central Guangxi, and strengthen transportation connections between Guilin International Tourist Resort and the Beibu Gulf city cluster. The report noted that during construction, the team faced difficulties such as complex geology, karst development, and a long rainy season, and applied technologies such as robotic welding, intelligent monitoring, geological radar scanning, and BeiDou monitoring. A local official said that this corridor will help reduce logistics costs, promote the outward transportation of specialty agricultural products and cultural and tourism resources, and drive coordinated development of industries along the route.
