Late Rice Transplanting on 230,000 Mu Is in Full Swing in Xingye, Guangxi

Xingye County, Yulin, Guangxi, is currently in the critical period for late rice transplanting. After completing the early rice harvest, local farmers are taking advantage of the sunny weather to speed up rice transplanting, creating a scene of busy activity in the fields. At the highquality rice planting base in Chenghuang Town, rice transplanters shuttle back and forth, quickly and accurately planting seedlings into the fields. Largescale grain growers said that stages such as seedling cultivation, transplanting, pest and disease control, and fertilization have gradually been mechanized, which not only saves labor but also improves efficiency. The agriculture and rural affairs department of Xingye County said that by promoting mechanized transplanting, strengthening agricultural machinery dispatch and technical guidance, and relying on cooperatives and social service organizations, the county is advancing standardized and largescale late rice cultivation. This year, the county's planned planting area for lateseason rice is 230,000 mu, and the coverage rate of highquality rice exceeds 93%.
