Heavy rain warning in North China: Beijing and Hebei have activated a Level IV flood-control response to guard against heavy to torrential rain Closely monitor changes in flood conditions, respond in a timely manner, and reduce the risks caused by heavy rain

According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, due to the weather forecast, from August 2 to 4, North China will see a period of relatively heavy rainfall, and some areas in northern Hebei as well as western and northern Beijing may experience heavy to torrential rain. At 10:00 on August 2, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the National Emergency Response Plan for Flood and Drought Relief, activated Level IV flood control emergency response for Beijing and Hebei. Relevant departments remind the public to closely monitor changes in rainfall and flood conditions and to take preventive and response measures in a timely manner.
