The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will jointly host the "Gathering Talent for the Blue Sea, Innovating the Future" talent matchmaking event for highquality development of the marine economy on September 16 at China Ocean University in Qingdao, focusing on promoting employment, stabilizing jobs, expanding capacity, and improving quality in the marine economy sector.
The event will feature two parallel sections: a talent matchmaking conference and a supplydemand meeting for industry and talent. Employers will set up booths onsite to communicate facetoface with various types of talent, in order to improve the efficiency of matching positions with talent.
At present, the event has already collected 174 employers from 11 coastal provinces, covering central stateowned enterprises, hightech enterprises, specialized and sophisticated enterprises with unique and new products and research institutions, offering 732 positions and a talent demand of more than 2,000 people. The event will also set up dedicated areas for policy consultation, entrepreneurship services, and China Ocean Talent Network services, and will showcase achievements by marine talent, scientific research成果, and innovation and entrepreneurship cases.
