T.O.P (Choi Seunghyun) of Big Bang mentioned Big Bang's 20th anniversary world tour at a fan meeting in Japan and said he would continue his career as a solo artist from now on. In an interview on TV Asahi Channel 1 in Japan aired on the 12th, T.O.P said that although he can no longer stand on the same stage with the members, he would support Big Bang's activities and music from behind the scenes. He also said that going through difficult times in the past made working on music a time of healing for him. After being convicted in 2016 on charges of smoking marijuana, T.O.P halted his activities, and returned in 2024 with the Netflix series 'Squid Game 2'. In April this year, he released his first fulllength solo album and resumed activities as a singer as well.
