Xi Jinping replies to encourage representatives of the winners of the May Fourth Medal for Chinese Youth and the New Era Youth Pioneer Award

Xi said in the letter that the awardwinning young representatives have long been rooted at the grassroots front lines in scientific and technological innovation, rural revitalization, social services, and safeguarding the border for the country, demonstrating through practical action the sense of responsibility, commitment, and spirit of young Chinese people in the new era. He stressed that this year is the first year of the "15th FiveYear Plan," and that youth are in their prime.
