Fujian Pingtan Holds the 2026 Cross-Strait Judicial Practice Seminar

The 2026 CrossStrait Judicial Practice Seminar was held on July 10 in the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone in Fujian Province, with 143 participants from the legal and practical communities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait attending the meeting.
The seminar was jointly organized by the Fujian Judges Association and the CrossStrait Legal Exchange Association in Taiwan. It featured exchanges on topics including judicial system reform, adjudication practices in emerging fields, and criminal judicial practice across the Strait, under the theme "The Inheritance and Development of Chinese Jurisprudential Thought."
Attendees said that the seminar has become an important platform for judicial exchanges across the Strait, helping to enhance professional dialogue, deepen judicial mutual trust, and provide ruleoflaw support for practices related to integrated development across the Strait.
