Premier Li Qiang of the State Council chaired a State Council executive meeting on July 10, focusing on disaster prevention, flood control and relief, Digital China development, the building of a modern circulation system, the cultivation of emerging pillar industries, and the protection and utilization of natural resources, and reviewed and adopted the "National Fitness Plan (20262030)".
The meeting called on all regions and departments to earnestly strengthen their sense of responsibility for disaster prevention, flood control and relief, intensify inspections of risks and hidden hazards and monitoring and early warning, promptly evacuate people from dangerous areas, coordinate rescue and relief efforts with livelihood assistance, and safeguard the safety of people's lives and property.
The meeting also proposed accelerating the layout of digital infrastructure and advancing the construction of nextgeneration communication networks and computing power networks; addressing shortcomings in circulation infrastructure to reduce logistics and circulation costs; promoting the fullchain development of emerging pillar industries; optimizing the spatial pattern of national land and resource management; and increasing the supply of public fitness facilities while developing campus sports and massparticipation events to help improve the overall health of the population.
