State Council executive meeting: deploy artificial intelligence, foreign trade, and the dual-carbon health plan Speed up policy implementation, stabilize foreign trade and promote opening up, release new momentum, and pay attention to follow-up arrangements
On June 29, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council chaired an executive meeting of the State Council,听取 a report on the development of artificial intelligence, and studied the current foreign trade situation and work related to building a strong trading nation, while also reviewing and adopting the "15th FiveYear Plan" Action Plan for Peaking Carbon Emissions and the National Health "15th FiveYear Plan."
The meeting proposed improving support policies and the governance system for artificial intelligence, accelerating breakthroughs in key technologies, the construction of computing infrastructure, and the supply of highquality data, and promoting the implementation of "AI+" applications, while strengthening safety regulation and international cooperation.
The meeting also required maintaining the stable development of foreign trade, continuing to support policy tools such as credit and export credit insurance, improving the quality of goods trade, services trade, and digital trade, promoting balanced development of imports and exports, and actively expanding opening up.
In the areas of the dual carbon goals and health, the meeting emphasized promoting the green transformation of industries, improving systems such as carbon emissions statistical accounting, and strengthening a full lifecycle health service system, promoting coordination among healthcare, medical insurance, and disease control, and supporting the development of the health industry.
