On June 29, the symposium on science and technology helping the highquality development of Bijie’s textile industry, along with an investment matchmaking event, was held in Beijing. Representatives from the United Front work departments, relevant ministries and commissions, local governments, industry associations, research institutions, and enterprises attended the event and exchanged remarks.
Participants discussed improving quality and efficiency, transformation and upgrading, and project implementation in Bijie’s textile industry. Related remarks noted that efforts should be made in light of Bijie’s industrial foundation and resource conditions to promote scientific and technological assistance, technology empowerment, and industrial collaboration, and to improve the textile and apparel industrial chain.
The Bijie side said that the local area is advancing the layout and supporting construction of the textile industry, and hopes to use this matchmaking event to attract more enterprises and institutions to participate, generate more cooperative outcomes in areas such as cluster building, digital transformation, and brand cultivation, and drive industrial development and rural revitalization.
