Jang Dong-hyuk wraps up offsite rallies in Daegu and Gimhae... continues attending at Olympic Park

People Power Party leader Jang Donghyeok concluded his offcampus protest schedule over the shortage of ballots in the June 3 local elections by consecutively attending rallies held in Daegu and Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, on the 25th. At the Gimhae rally, Rep. Jang claimed that the National Election Commission, the courts, and the joint investigation headquarters could not be trusted, raising suspicions of election fraud. At the Daegu rally, he called for the push for a special counsel investigation and stronger probes. At the scene, unlike the slogans Jang had put forward, some sitting lawmakers emphasized fair elections and the protection of the right to vote, showing a difference in tone. According to a party official, Jang will not continue the official offcampus protest with this schedule, but plans to keep attending rallies at Seoul Olympic Park in a personal capacity.
