Zhang Ping, former director of the Work Committee of the Trade Union of Organs Directly Under Guizhou Province, has been expelled from the Party

According to the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, Zhang Ping, former director of the Working Committee of the Trade Union of the Directly Under the Guizhou Provincial Authorities, has been placed under review and investigation for serious disciplinary and legal violations. The notice states that Zhang Ping resisted organizational review, illegally accepted gifts and valuables, improperly accepted banquets, sought personnel benefits for others and accepted money and valuables in return, among other issues. The notice also pointed out that Zhang Ping took advantage of his position and the influence of his former powers to help others in product promotion, trademark review, project contracting, and other areas, and unlawfully accepted money and valuables; he was also suspected of the crimes of bribery, bribery through influence, and offering bribes. Relevant departments have decided to expel him from the Party, cancel his benefits in accordance with regulations, confiscate his illegal gains, and transfer the suspected criminal matters to the procuratorate for review and prosecution in accordance with the law.
