Premier of the State Council Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 Summer Davos Forum in Dalian on the morning of June 24 and delivered a speech. Government leaders from multiple countries and about 1,800 representatives from various sectors attended the event. Li Qiang said that this year's forum, under the theme "Scaling Innovation," focuses on key issues in the current development of the global economy and industries. Drawing on China's economic practice, he introduced China's progress in innovationdriven development, highquality development, and the integration of science and technology with industry. Li Qiang pointed out that China's economy has maintained stable and positive momentum in the opening year of the new round of planning, and innovation has become a key factor driving longterm development.
