At around 6:47 p.m. on the 28th in the Cheongha Tunnel on the Pohang–Yeongdeok Expressway in Gyeongbuk, a 1ton truck crashed into a parked patrol car and a disabled cargo truck in succession.
As a result of the accident, a truck driver in his 40s, Mr. A, was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest but died, and one police officer at the scene also suffered a serious leg injury and is receiving treatment.
