David Gu Releases His First Jazz Single 'It's Raining' and Holds a Solo Concert

Singersongwriter David Gu (Koo Hyunmo) will release his first jazz digital single, ‘It's Raining,’ on June 24 and hold a solo concert in Gangnam, Seoul on the 27th.
The new song is a jazz ballad that captures memories and longing on a rainy day, expressing feelings of waiting within past love and time that has come to a standstill. Pianist Yjune, saxophonist Mellow Kitchen, drummer Hong Jinsung, and bassist Kim Hyunbae participated in this project, with producer Kim Jaehwan handling the mixing.
The performance will be held at Cafe Curious in Gangnamgu, Seoul, and will consist of the new song, jazz standards, and selfcomposed pieces. A free invitation program for youth preparing for independent living has also been arranged, and violinist Jeong Wonjun, a youth preparing for independent living, will participate as a guest in the opening stage.
