From July 27 to 31, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Washington, with the aim of promoting the implementation by the business communities of China and the United States of the important consensus reached at the Beijing meeting between the two heads of state, and expanding practical cooperation in trade and economic fields. A total of 22 Chinese enterprises participated in the visit. During the visit, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and relevant U.S. organizations jointly held a number of business matching activities and carried out discussions and exchanges with more than 120 U.S. enterprises and institutions. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, met with a number of U.S. political and business figures, introducing relevant information about China's 15th FiveYear Plan, China's economic situation, and new measures for highquality development and highstandard opening up, while also promoting the Fifth China International Supply Chain Expo. U.S. political and business figures spoke positively of the Beijing meeting between the two heads of state and said they hope to continue deepening their presence in the Chinese market, expand trade and investment cooperation, and also participate in the APEC CEO Summit and the Fifth China International Supply Chain Expo, jointly safeguarding the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
