On the morning of July 20, Chinese Premier Li Qiang held talks with Thai Prime Minister Anutin, who was in China for an official visit, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Li Qiang said that China and Thailand have a long history of friendly exchanges, and that under the guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the two sides have continued to advance the building of a community with a shared future. China is willing to continue strengthening alignment between its development strategies and Thailand's, promote key projects such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the ChinaThailand Railway, accelerate cooperation in areas such as crossborder payments and local currency settlement, expand trade ties, and broaden cooperation in fields including artificial intelligence, new energy vehicles, and clean energy.
The two sides also exchanged views on tourism, education, media exchanges, and cooperation in law enforcement and security, and reaffirmed their commitment to jointly combating crossborder crimes such as online gambling and telecom fraud. After the talks, the two prime ministers jointly witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation documents covering trade, agriculture, customs, science and technology, AI education, aerospace, intellectual property, media, and other fields.
