On September 22, Chongqing Airlines said that, with the MidAutumn Festival and National Day holidays approaching, the company will allocate more capacity to routes with larger passenger volumes during the period from September 24 to October 8. It plans to operate 1,970 flights, averaging more than 130 flights per day, to meet the increased demand for trips home to visit family and for leisure travel. This additional service involves a total of 112 flights, covering multiple routes between Chongqing and Kunming, Xishuangbanna, Lijiang, Jieyang, Guangzhou, Kashgar, and others. It will also increase the frequency of the Guangzhou–Xishuangbanna route and resume routes between Chongqing and Tianjin, Xi'an, Mangshi, and others. According to the arrangement, the extra flights on popular tourist routes such as those to Yunnan and Kashgar will mainly be concentrated during two travel peaks, from September 30 to October 2 and from October 6 to 8. The increased frequency on the Chongqing–Guangzhou route will run throughout the entire National Day holiday. Chongqing Airlines also mentioned that the "OneMinute Boarding" service launched on the "Yuxing Express" during the summer travel season can provide passengers without checked baggage with more flexible boarding arrangements.
