Recently, Beichen District in Tianjin has been promoting the implementation of the first batch of projects for Peking University's BeijingTianjinHebei Biomedical Frontier Innovation Center, focusing on accelerating the transformation of mature achievements such as tumor antibody drugs. The center has already been put into operation in Beichen, integrating scientific research, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation. According to reports, the center will focus on areas such as singlecell omics, gene sequencing, and cancer diagnosis and treatment, and will combine artificial intelligence to build a datadriven tumor diagnosis and treatment laboratory. Locally, there are also plans to promote coordinated development among industry, academia, research, medicine, and finance by establishing an incubation and operation company and connecting hospitals, enterprises, and investment and financing institutions. At present, the center has gathered 3 expert teams and more than 20 young doctoral scientists, and the team size is expected to expand to 50 to 80 people over the next three years. Beichen District said it will continue to improve mechanisms for resource sharing and joint talent cultivation, and promote more scientific and technological achievements from the laboratory to the production line.
