On June 2, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, at the invitation of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus, Vice President Han Zheng will visit Russia from June 4 to 8 to attend the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and make an official visit to Belarus. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is an important platform for discussing global economic governance and promoting international cooperation. This year's forum, themed "Pragmatic Dialogue — The Path to a Stable Future," will see Han Zheng attend related events and meet with relevant Russian leaders. The Chinese side hopes to use this opportunity to strengthen communication, enhance mutual trust, and promote multilateral cooperation and the building of a fairer and more reasonable global governance system. During his visit to Belarus, Han Zheng will exchange views with Belarusian leaders on ChinaBelarus relations and issues of common concern.
