Sunmi's Shanghai fan meeting canceled

Singer Sunmi's fan meeting in Shanghai, China, was canceled four days before the event. Her agency, Abyss Company, announced through its official SNS on the 1st that it had decided not to proceed with the '2026 Sunmi Shanghai Fan Meeting Meet SUNMI in Late Summer,' which was scheduled for September 5. The agency explained that it had continued to review the event operations and production preparations with the local organizer, but ultimately determined that it would be difficult to secure the level of quality it had expected. The agency said the cancellation was due to its inability to guarantee an environment in which both fans and the artist could participate with peace of mind, and it informed that purchased tickets would be fully refunded through the local organizer and the official ticketing platform.
