The 28th China Association for Science and Technology Annual Meeting recently held three themed forums in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, and Beijing, covering key components and materials for highend equipment, key materials for new displays, and green and lowcarbon production technologies for modern facility agriculture.
The rare earth materials forum held in Hohhot focused on the national new materials industry layout during the 15th FiveYear Plan period, discussing development directions such as rare earth permanent magnet materials and rare earth optoelectronic functional materials, and carrying out discussions on topics including the balanced development and highvalue utilization of rare earths. The forum organizers said they hope to leverage Inner Mongolia's advantages in rare earth resources to promote the alignment of scientific research with industry needs.
