The National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine recently issued the "14th FiveYear Plan for the Revitalization and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine," making systematic arrangements for TCM work over the next five years. It makes clear that by 2030, the TCM service system will be more welldeveloped, with the goal of ensuring that everyone has access to TCM services. Centered on medical services, scientific research, talent, industry, culture, and open development, the plan sets out ten key tasks, including improving the highquality TCM service system, enhancing wholelifecycle health service capabilities, advancing the highquality development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, strengthening the talent team, and accelerating digitalintelligent empowerment and standardization. In terms of grassroots services, the plan emphasizes filling gaps and weaknesses. Through the downward transfer of talent, telemedicine, and digitalintelligent applications, it aims to strengthen TCM service capabilities in counties, townships, and villages, making it more convenient for the public to access TCM services close to home. At the same time, the plan also proposes strengthening the synergy between traditional Chinese and Western medicine and building science and technology platforms, so that more research achievements can be transformed into new drugs and new technologies that are clinically usable.
