Across various regions, indepth efforts are underway to study, educate, and establish a correct view of political performance and to put it into practice, with a focus on tackling issues such as "new officials ignoring old accounts." Through targeted measures by category and advancement in accordance with laws and regulations, a number of longstanding historical issues are being resolved, improving the public's sense of gain.
The report noted that places such as Zhaoqing in Guangdong, Jishou in Hunan, Youxi in Fujian, and Zhongning in Ningxia have, in light of local realities, drawn up lists and continued supervision around issues including land revitalization, road completion, and water use by enterprises, promoting the stepbystep resolution of problems. Some regions have also incorporated livelihood, project, and policy issues into ledgerbased management, clearly defining responsible parties and completion deadlines.
At the same time, places such as Dayi in Sichuan, Jining in Shandong, Hechuan in Chongqing, and Siyang in Jiangsu have improved cadre handover systems, optimized assessment methods, and strengthened supervision mechanisms to ensure that leading cadres can continue fulfilling their duties after a change in position.
