Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, June 17 — Relevant officials from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security answered reporters' questions about the "15th FiveYear Plan for Implementing the EmploymentFirst Strategy," introducing the background of the plan's formulation, its main goals, key tasks, and implementation arrangements.
The officials said the plan was drafted on the basis of assessing the employment situation during the "15th FiveYear" period, with a focus on addressing issues such as pressure to stabilize employment and structural employment mismatches. It emphasizes giving equal weight to employment scale and quality, promoting a better match between supply and demand, and balancing the development of traditional industries and emerging business models.
The plan proposes that overall employment will remain stable during the "15th FiveYear" period, with new progress in highquality full employment.
