The launch ceremony for the 2026 national "Respect for the Elderly Month" campaign was held on September 30 in Zhengzhou, Henan. Relevant officials from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the China National Committee on Ageing, and the Henan Provincial Government attended the event and delivered remarks.
This year's "Respect for the Elderly Month" is themed "Strengthen Rights and Interests Protection, Safeguard the Safety of SilverAge Seniors." The activities will focus on visits and慰问, care and assistance for older adults in special difficulty, improving health services, advancing agefriendly and barrierfree environment construction, and strengthening digital safety and antifraud publicity.
