According to the forecast by the meteorological department, from September 30 to October 3, parts of Chongqing, Guizhou, and other areas will experience heavy to torrential rain, with extremely heavy rain in some localities. After consultation and assessment, the risk of geological disasters is relatively high in northern Chongqing and eastern Guizhou. At the same time, relevant departments should make advance preparations for rescue and disaster relief forces and supplies, strengthen guidance to grassroots levels, and coordinate prevention and response efforts during the National Day holiday. The Ministry of Emergency Management stated that the current Level IV national geological disaster emergency response for Chongqing and Shaanxi remains unchanged.
