The Liaoning aircraft carrier formation recently returned to its home port in Qingdao after completing more than 40 days of sustained opensea combat training. Military commentators said the J15T is equipped with a new active electronically scanned array radar, with improved detection and electronic warfare capabilities, and can carry the PL15 airtoair missile.
