According to information released by the Henan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Provincial Supervisory Commission, Wang Tie, a former deputy divisionlevel cadre of the Henan provincial government, is currently under supervisory investigation on suspicion of serious violations of the law.
Public records show that Wang Tie was once "demoted in a clifflike manner" in 2018 for serious disciplinary and legal violations, being downgraded from deputy provincial and ministerial level to a nonleadership post at the deputy division level. His being investigated again this time means that the relevant issues are still under further investigation.
Reports said that Wang Tie served in Henan for a long time, working in multiple posts in Jiyuan, Xinyang, and the Henan provincial government, and was later dealt with for disciplinary and legal violations before going through retirement procedures.
