The procuratorate has filed public prosecutions in accordance with the law, and the progress of the bribery cases involving Wang Yunchang and three others has been announced All four cases have entered the review and prosecution stage, with case details continuously being updated

According to a message on the WeChat public account of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, on July 13, procuratorial authorities依法 filed public prosecutions against Wang Yunchang, Ma Lifang, Cheng Lianyuan, and Wu Youyun. The related cases are all currently undergoing further handling. Wang Yunchang previously served as a firstlevel inspector of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Housing and UrbanRural Development, and is accused of suspected bribery and dereliction of duty; Ma Lifang previously served as deputy head of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Department of Veterans Affairs, and is accused of suspected bribery; Cheng Lianyuan previously held a principal leadership position at the Zhaotong Municipal CPPCC, and is accused of suspected bribery; Wu Youyun previously served as Party secretary and chairman of the Hunan Province Performing Arts Group, and is accused of suspected bribery. The announcement shows that all four cases were transferred to procuratorial authorities for review and prosecution after the disciplinary inspection and supervisory organs completed their investigations. The procuratorial authorities have依法 informed the defendants of their relevant litigation rights, and have questioned the defendants and heard defense opinions.
