Kim Min-seok's Busan strategy has identified the Nakdong River as a key battleground for the 2028 general election. Find out whether on-site activities and organizational restructuring will lead to results.
Kim Minseok, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited Busan on the 50th day of his inauguration and mentioned his strategy for the next general election. At a youth roundtable, he emphasized his regional vision, saying that the main battlegrounds in the 2028 general election will be Busan and the Nakdong River.
Even after taking office as party leader, Kim continues to visit sites at dawn and appear on YouTube. Recently, he has visited various sites in the medical, firefighting, postal, and environmental sectors, and within the party he has successively launched a range of task forces and special committees.
However, concerns are also being raised inside and outside the party about whether Kim's excessive involvement and operation of numerous organizations will actually lead to tangible results. Some have also criticized the practice of creating TFs for each detailed issue.
