On July 13, the National Development and Reform Commission urgently allocated 30 million yuan from the central government budget for investment to support emergency recovery efforts in Hebei Province after rainstorm and flood disasters. According to reports, some parts of Hebei recently experienced heavy rainfall that triggered flooding disasters. On that day, the National Committee for Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief had already activated a Level IV national disaster relief emergency response. These funds will be mainly used for postdisaster emergency recovery and reconstruction of damaged roads and other infrastructure in the disasterstricken areas, as well as public service facilities such as schools, helping local communities resume normal production and daily life as soon as possible.
