The 2026 China Environmental Protection Century Tour publicity campaign kicks off in Qinghai

The "China Environmental Protection Century Tour 2026 Publicity Campaign," led and hosted by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, kicked off on July 19 in Xining, Qinghai. This year’s theme is "Implementing and Enforcing the Ecological and Environmental Code, Strengthening Ecological Protection on the QinghaiTibet Plateau." At the launch meeting, the organizers said the campaign will center on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and on promoting the publicity and implementation of the Ecological and Environmental Code. Responsible officials from the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial People’s Congress, the provincial government, and relevant departments, as well as National People’s Congress deputies working on the front lines of ecological and environmental protection in Qinghai, each introduced local progress in ecological protection based on their actual work.
