The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council Holds a Seminar for Leaders of Central Enterprises

On July 2122, the Stateowned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) held a seminar for leaders of central enterprises to summarize the work of the first half of the year and deploy tasks for the second half. Cheng Fubo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of SASAC, attended and delivered a speech, calling on stateowned central enterprises to take the formulation and implementation of the "15th FiveYear Plan" and further deepening reform as their key focus, so as to advance the completion of the annual goals and tasks and strive to achieve a good start to the "15th FiveYear Plan." The meeting announced the results of the 2025 assessments of the Partybuilding responsibility system, board performance evaluations, and business performance evaluations for central enterprises, as well as the economic operating conditions in the first half of this year. Data showed that from January to June this year, the total profits of central enterprises reached 1.4 trillion yuan, while fixedasset investment and R&D spending increased by 4.5% and 3.8% year on year, respectively. The meeting also noted that central enterprises continued to make progress in technological innovation, industrial upgrading, international operations, stateowned enterprise reform, and supervision of stateowned assets. The meeting stressed that in the second half of the year, efforts should continue to stabilize the fundamental business base, expand effective investment, advance original innovation and breakthroughs in key core technologies, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, deepen restructuring and integration as well as corporate governance reform, prevent risks in key areas, and enhance strategic support and保障 capabilities. Enterprise leaders attending the meeting held group discussions on the theme, and enterprises such as China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, State Grid, and China Baowu gave exchange speeches.
